Hello! I am excited to join the Bread of Life Council. My husband, Jason, and I met while attending the University of Regina and we have been married for almost 16 years. After completing my B.A. and B.Ed. degrees, I spent several years working at SGI. Jason and I welcomed our twin girls, Kamryn and Taylor, into the world at the end of 2008 and I made the transition to Stay-At-Home Mom a couple years later. Drawn in by the warmth and positivity of Pastor Carla, and the message of inclusivity in the welcome statement, we joined Bread of Life in 2012. Having gone through IVF to have our girls, we decided to count our blessings and accepted that our family was complete. Everyone knows God has a sense of humor; our Cooper arrived in February of 2013 and he has been keeping us on our toes ever since! Although the kids keep me pretty busy, I have been a member of Ecole Wascana Plains School Community Council for the past two years. I recently received my Teacher Certification and plan to return to work this Fall as a substitute teacher. I love books (especially with a cup of green tea), writing, music, cooking, gardening, photography and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to working with everyone on the Council.
