Pastor Diane Nokonechny (Interim, Vice-pastor) After a career as a Dental Hygienist for more than 2 decades and having left the church for many years, Pastor Diane sensed an unexpected call to ministry in 2017. In 2018, she began full-time studies at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon. She completed her internship at Luther College Highschool and Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Regina and graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 2022. She was ordained in May 2022 and has served as the interim pastor at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and Our Savior's.
Bread of Life is Pastor Diane's home congregation and she is grateful for all of their support during her seminary journey. She is excited to be serving Bread of Life while Pastor Stewart is on sabbatical.
Pastor Diane is passionate about sharing the Good News of God’s love for all people to all people in real and tangible ways and empowering others to live out their lives of faith, to bring change, hope, love and healing into the world.
